Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the renovation of an embassy playground. The scope includes demolition, site preparation, and installation of new playground equipment and rubberized safety tiles. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for July 15, 2026. Quotations are due by July 23, 2026. The award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable, and responsible offeror. Questions are due by July 16, 2026. Offerors are encouraged to register in SAM. gov. A minimum of a three-year warranty is required for the installed equipment, workmanship, tiles, and concrete base.
The contractor shall complete all work, including furnishing all labor, materials, insurances, equipment, and services required under this contract for the following firm fixed price and within the time specified. The contractor shall complete all work required under this contract and make the renovated playground fully operational and ready for government inspection and public use within 168 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed (NTP).
Embassy payment terms are 30 days net credit. Payment is due within 30 days after the receipt of a proper invoice as defined by 5 CFR **** and all services were received and accepted by the government. The embassy does not make any advance payments.
Contractor must provide a minimum of three 3 years warranty covering the installed playground equipment, workmanship, new rubber safety tiles, and concrete base. The contractor shall be responsible for resolution on any defect failure on the contract during the warranty period.
The award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable, and responsible offeror.
Offerors must be technically qualified and financially responsible, possess a valid Kuwait commercial license, have prior construction experience with suitable references, and have the necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources.
If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified in the contract, or any extension, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the government in the amount of KWD 151 (US $490) for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted.
A site visit has been scheduled for July 15, 2026, at 09:30 am Kuwait local time to U. S. Embassy Kuwait. Interested offerors are limited to a maximum of two representatives per company and must submit attendee information by July 13, 2026.
Product literature, catalogs, and technical data sheets of products shall be provided when actual samples cannot be provided. All sample of products/materials required for this project should be submitted for review and approval if requested in the scope of work.
