Contractors must be able to produce evidence that they have an established satisfactory record of performance for a minimum of two (2) years and have sufficient financial support, equipment, and organization to ensure that they can satisfactorily execute the services if awarded a contract.
Liquidated damages shall be invoked as specified in the standard specifications for road and bridge construction, Colorado Department of Transportation, State of Colorado 2025. The county reserves the right to cancel the contract and secure services of another contractor if work is not completed within the timeline, and may request payment for additional costs incurred.
A pre-solicitation meeting will be held as shown in the schedule of activities, and a representative of the contractor is encouraged to attend this meeting in order to become familiar with the specifications. The contractor is advised to carefully examine the requirements outlined in the specifications and the location of the proposed work.
