Proposals must be submitted no later than the date and time listed in BidNet. The bid opening date is November 9, 2023.
County shall pay contractor within thirty 30 days after the receipt by county department of a complete and correct invoice. County may withhold up to 110 percent of a disputed amount.
The award of a contract shall be based on the demonstrated competence, experience, and qualifications of the respondents whose offers are determined to provide the best value for Travis County.
Respondents must be qualified vendors with demonstrated competence and experience in providing reliable, timely, professional towing and related services. Contractors must be licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and comply with all state and local regulations.
Failure to respond within the required timeline may result in securing the service through an alternate contractor and rejection of fees for the service. Continued failure to comply with licensing requirements may result in exclusion as a vendor and potential breach of contract.
Objections to response specifications must be filed in writing at least seven days before the solicitation opening date. Protests before award must be submitted no later than six 6 calendar days after response opening.
Contacting anyone at Travis County other than the listed point of contact, or contacting individual members of the Travis County Commissioners Court or their staff about this solicitation, may disqualify the response from consideration.
