The bid opening date is Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Proposals must be submitted at or before this time.

The bid notice indicates that monthly progress payments will be made, with 95% of the work value paid and 5% retained. The remaining 5% will be released 35 days after the notice of completion, provided no stop notices were filed. Prompt payment to subcontractors is also required.

The contractor shall guarantee their work from defects and workmanship for a period of one year after the notice of completion has been filed. A guarantee bond in the amount of fifteen percent (15%) is required prior to the issuance of the notice of completion.

The basis of award shall be the lowest bid price on the base bid without consideration of the prices on the deductive or additive alternate bids.

Contractors must possess a Class A General Engineering Contractor or Class B General Building Contractor license at the time of bid and for the duration of the contract. Bids received from firms that did not attend the mandatory pre-bid walk will be deemed nonresponsive.

Failure to possess the specified license shall render the bid as nonresponsive and result in forfeiture of the bid security. Contractors may forfeit **** for each workman employed in violation of labor code provisions regarding hours of work. Delay damages are specified at $5,**** per calendar day beyond the completion date.

A mandatory pre-bid walk will be scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, at 10:00 a. m. , at **** State Hwy 59, El Nido CA **** received from firms that did not attend the mandatory pre-bid walk will be deemed nonresponsive.

For product samples, contractors shall submit two representative samples. For material samples, a representative sample shall be submitted. Some samples may be retained indefinitely at the discretion of the engineer.

Bid protests are due in writing within 72 hours of the notice of intent to award. If the end of the 72-hour period falls on a weekend or holiday, protests are due in writing by 12 p. m. of the next business day.

The bid notice states that the deadline for submissions is April 20th, 2026, at 3:00 PM CDT.

The City of Round Rock intends to select a prime contractor using the competitive bid method.

The bid notice states all attendees shall park in the gravel lot located in the front oval near the flagpoles on the fayetteville vamc campus, **** north college avenue. contractor parking is located at the back of the gravel lot, identified by red parking stops. vapd has requested that all site visit attendees use this lot, and they will be notified in advance to ensure there are no issues with parking. after parking, attendees shall proceed directly to the gravel lot contractor parking area, where the government point of contact, autumn chappell, will meet the group. autumn will be present at this location from 9: 45 am until 10: 00 am cst to check in attendees and assemble the group. at 10: 00 am cst, the site visit will begin. autumn will escort the group on foot from the gravel lot to building 8, room 001a, and then to the required outdoor locations, including the roll off container sites. please note that this route involves a moderate walk across campus. late arrivals may not be accommodated, and no secondary visits will be conducted. attendees should allow sufficient time for parking and walking to the meeting point.
