Genesee County is soliciting bids for the Flint River Watershed Coalition Pavilion and Sidewalk rebid. Sealed bids are due Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 12:00 p. m. EST. A prebid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 9:00 a. m. EST. The project requires compliance with MDOT 2020 standard specifications. The successful bidder must provide performance, payment, and maintenance bonds, and adhere to prevailing wage requirements.
Sealed bids will be received until 12:00 p. m. est, wednesday, september 9, 2026, at the genesee county purchasing department, 324 s saginaw street, suite 9a, flint, mi, ****.
The county will retain 10% of amount on invoice, and upon approval of invoice, payment is remitted within 30 days.
For a period of one year following completion of the work, the work and any goods provided with the work shall conform to the specifications and be free of defects in workmanship or materials.
The contract shall be awarded to the lowest and/or most responsive and/or most responsible qualified bidder provided, however, the county may for good cause reject any bid even though it may be the lowest.
A bidder shall have the capability in all respects to perform the work and the integrity and reliability, which will assure good faith performance.
Any unjustified delay by the contractor will result in damages to the county.

All questions regarding this itb shall be submitted in writing and received before 3:00 pm on monday, august 17, 2026 to the genesee county purchasing department as listed above.
Failure to provide the required number of duplicate copies may result in rejection of your bid.
