The Texas Historical Commission (THC) is seeking a qualified general contractor for construction, repair, and restoration services at the Magoffin Home State Historic Site in El Paso, Texas. The bid deadline is August 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM CT. Bidders must attend a mandatory site visit on August 13th and 18th, 2025, from 9 AM to 4 PM at **** Magoffin Ave, El Paso, TX 79901. The bid must include all required exhibits (signature page, checklist, price schedule, execution of offer, conflict of interest disclosure statement, nondisclosure agreement, certification regarding public nature of the offer, certification regarding lobbying, experience, references, hub subcontracting plan, site visit form, and proof of insurance). Construction work is required to commence in accordance with the notice to proceed issued by THC. The contractor will reach substantial completion by the date specified in the notice to proceed. All project work, including final completion and project closeout procedures, shall be completed within the contract term. This contract is contingent upon the continued availability of funding. If funds become unavailable, provisions of the termination article in the THC general terms and conditions contract shall apply.
