The United States District Court is seeking proposals from hotels and resorts for a 2026 training conference in Santa Barbara/Goleta, CA. Property must have a 4-star rating or better. Proposals are due by July 17, 2026, 4:00 PM. Site surveys may be conducted. Award will be based on the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Questions are due by July 10, 2026, 4:00 PM.
Quotes must be emailed by 4:00 PM on Friday, July 17, 2026, local time. The conference dates are September 23 through September 25, 2026.
The hotel shall invoice the Judiciary for all charges including meeting spaces, food and beverage, and audio visual charges. Individual guests are responsible for their room and incidental charges. The US Government is tax exempt.
A fixed price award will be made based on the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer.
Property must have a rating of 4 stars or better from Michelin, Hotels. com or TripAdvisor. com. Proposals must be direct from hotel management, not brokers.
If a cancellation or reduction occurs less than 60 days before the event, the judiciary will be responsible for actual losses sustained by the contractor if the contractor is unable to resell the cancelled block. If the hotel cancels, they are responsible for excess costs incurred by the judiciary.
Site surveys may be conducted prior to award to ensure the facility meets event requirements.
