This is a public tender for construction services for the Midvalley Health Center Dermatology University Project 22989. The project involves renovating underutilized space and small provider offices into additional exam rooms and infilling a level 4 atrium to create a central provider lounge. The contract will be awarded as soon as possible to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, based on the lowest combination of base bid and acceptable prioritized alternates, provided the bid is reasonable, is in the interests of the university to accept and after applying the Utah preference laws.
Contractors must comply with and require all of their subcontractors to comply with the license laws as required by the state of Utah. A project manager and project superintendent with 5 years of experience working within an active hospital or clinic setting are required.
Liquidated damages are set at $1,**** per day.
Contractors are required to visit the site of the work before submitting a bid.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of unduly contacting or offering gifts or gratuities to owners, users or selection committee members may result in disqualification. Failure to acknowledge addenda may result in disqualification. Late proposals will not be accepted. Failure to meet requirements for listing subcontractors may result in a poor performance rating.
