Pricing is needed for a one-time purchase of a pressure feed chemical induction unit, Denora brand. Delivery ETA required in comments. The procurement is subject to New York State laws and Rockland County codes. Bids must be complete, legible, and signed. Extraneous terms may render a bid nonresponsive. Confidential trade secret materials must be clearly marked and identified. Prevailing wage rates apply to public works and building services contracts. Purchases made by the County of Rockland are exempt from New York State and local sales taxes. The County of Rockland has entered into agreements for purchasing and travel card services.
Unless otherwise specified, delivery shall be made within thirty calendar days after receipt of a purchase order by the contractor.
The contractor shall not process a transaction for payment through the credit card clearinghouse until the purchased products have been shipped or services performed.
The contractor must be prepared, if requested by the commissioner, to present evidence of experience, ability and financial standing, as well as a statement as to plant, machinery and capacity of the manufacturer for the production, distribution and servicing of the product bid.
Where a site inspection is required by the bid specifications or project definition, bidder shall be required to inspect the site.
The commissioner reserves the right to request from the bidder/contractor representative samples of the product offered at any time prior to or after award of a contract.
Bidder may be disqualified from receiving awards if bidder, or anyone in bidder's employment, has previously failed to perform satisfactorily in connection with public bidding or contracts.
