The contractor agrees that the work in this contract shall begin as soon after the notice to proceed as is necessary for the contractor to complete the work within the number of calendar days allowed and prior to the stated completion date. The contractor shall commence said work on or after August 1, 2026. This project will be considered a 28 working day project as well as meet any requirements set forth in the method of completion section.

The vendor must attach their contractor work resume form and be able to answer yes to at least one of the following: 1. on NDOTs approved contractor list for similar projects 2. done similar work for Lancaster County in the past 3 years.

Vendor further understands and agrees that any scrutinized company that violates the certification may be subject to action by the Nebraska Attorney General, civil penalty, and such violation may void the contract.

The response deadline for this bid is April 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM CT.

Bidders must acknowledge reading and understanding the instructions to bidders, plans and special provisions, form of contract agreement, and bid documents. They must also acknowledge and accept responsibility for promptly notifying the purchasing department of any ambiguity, inconsistency, or error in the bid documents. Insurance certificate and required endorsements are required at time of contract execution.
