The Town of Harrison is seeking proposals for paving projects for Summer 2026. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes by 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2026. The bid award is contingent upon a successful town meeting vote in June. The work involves constructing hot mix asphalt pavement, including grinding, reclaiming, fine grading, base paving, shoulder gravel, and hand-placing asphalt at driveways. The municipal representative shall make payment in full after completion, inspection and acceptance.
The contractor guarantees that the work to be done under this contract and the materials to be furnished by the supplier for use in the construction of the same will be free from defects or flaws. This warranty shall be for a period of one year from the date of completion.
The bid award is contingent upon the successful vote at town meeting in June.
Proposals must include the contractor's name, address, phone number, contact person, a complete list of owned equipment that will be used to complete the project, as well as the price per project area.
Each contractor, before submitting an offer, shall become completely familiar with the required work and shall rely on his own investigation. The municipal representative will be available to have the sitesites proposed for paving inspected.
