Proposals are due Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM Central Time to the Fort Bend County Purchasing Department. All correspondence must include mussel
survey relocation. Respondents must download and complete any addendums posted on the Fort Bend County website no later than 48 hours prior to bid opening. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the requirements stated on the cover of the document. Proposals must be submitted as one original, six paper copies, and one electronic response on a flash drive containing only one PDF file that matches the written original. Failure to follow these instructions may result in disqualification. Questions regarding the procurement must be submitted in writing to the purchasing agent by June 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM Central Time. The county reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, reconsider proposals, meet with respondents, delete or add scope until final contract signing, and is exempt from state sales tax and federal excise tax. Proposals must be valid for 90 days after submission. The tentative schedule includes evaluation of submissions, commissioners court permission to negotiate, negotiations, and final contract approval. Respondents are responsible for all costs incurred in preparing and submitting proposals. The county reserves the right to retain all proposals. Additional forms required include vendor information form, W9 form, tax form, contractor acknowledgement of stormwater management program, current proof of insurance, and conflict of interest questionnaire. The successful respondent must obtain any required permits in the name of Fort Bend County. The project will be deemed a separate project for Texas tax purposes. Respondents must comply with all applicable federal and state rules and regulations, including 2 CFR **** criteria include cost, firm experience, qualifications of key personnel, project approach and timeline, compliance and regulatory knowledge, and overall completeness of proposal. The county will select the highest evaluated and responsible respondent. Contractual commitments are contingent upon the availability of funds. A performance and payment bond is required. The contract will be governed by Texas law.
