The contractor must deliver a written certification from the OEM guaranteeing that spare parts, factory-trained field service technicians, battery replacements, and firmware/security updates shall remain commercially available for a minimum of ten (10) years. The OEM must also guarantee firmware security patch support for the power xpert gateway card for the duration of the 5-year warranty period. The contractor must deliver a written certification from the original equipment manufacturer oem guaranteeing that spare parts, factory-trained field service technicians, battery replacements, and firmwaresecurity updates shall remain commercially available for a minimum of ten 10 years from the date of final government acceptance.

A 5year total manufacturer support plan comprising the standard 1year warranty plus a 4year extended warranty including annual preventive maintenance PM visits, parts, and labor, provided by the selected equipment manufacturer Eaton.
