Roof Project Selective roof overlay and full roof replacement areas. All areas will receive a cold- applied 2- ply modified bitumen membrane over 12 cover board. Replacement areas shall be removed to the existing roof deck and reconstructed with various substrate assemblies, including combinations of rigid insulation, tapered insulation, and cover board. Tapered insulation shall be provided as required for positive drainage, including crickets and saddles. Existing aluminum coping caps shall remain in designated areas, while new prefinished metal coping caps shall be installed in others. New stainless steel expansion joint flashings shall be installed at existing locations.
