PSL 40k Thrust Stand Refurbishment Design Study Three levels of options for refurbishment design study: Option 1 ( baseline simulator cable, GE connector, spare LC for 40k TMS, remove DP from frame adapters, disassemble frame, counterbore adapters for flexure bodies, add window to torque box, fix screw jacks, check limit switches, fix mechanical issues, reassemble, safety wire, paint ends, stickers for LCS, axis checkout testing, slot axial load, string adapters, new round adapters for axial data, proof of concept or A36), Option 2 ( all of Option 1, use same screw jacks, change to righthand rule, data reduction equations, labeling, new bolts, hydraulic motors, limit switches, couplings, hydraulic manifold like 50k but tied together, keep box on front for limit switches, solenoids, paint entire TMS, new hydraulic tubing runs), Option 3 ( all of Option A & B, replace screw jacks, add gear boxes, clutches, position transducers, automate calibration, independent hydraulic solenoid, modify software for TMS select
