The Horry County Solid Waste Authority is seeking a turnkey service for the disposal of household hazardous waste. Proposals must be submitted electronically by 3:00 p. m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. The contract is for one year, starting November 1, 2026. The award will be made to the lowest responsible proposer meeting specifications. Payment terms are net 30 after delivery or project completion. Proposers must provide current Horry County business license and proof of insurance.
The contract shall be completed in full and accepted by the owner within thirty 30 days of notice to proceed.
The horry county solid waste authority will be invoiced after delivery of equipment or completion of project, the payment terms for this invoice shall be net 30.
The award criteria include guarantees/warranty.
Award of proposal shall be made to the lowest responsible proposer meeting the specifications, completeness of the proposal, and including, but not limited to, the following: superior quality, adequate maintenance and service, past experience with companys equipment, companys reputation, known as technically good and innovative company, delivery date, guarantees/warranty, performance of proposers equipment in hands of other agencies, plants, and firms.
The successful proposer must provide a copy of their current horry county business license.
any proposer aggrieved in connection with the solicitation or award of a contract may protest to the executive director in writing within 7 days after such person knows or should have known of the facts giving rise to the grievance.
Proposals may be rejected if there are any omissions, alterations of form, additions not called for, conditional proposal or any irregularities of any kind.
