Bed Cleaning Government Bids & RFPs

Responses must be received no later than 12:00 p. m. Central Time, Friday, May 29, 2024.

The bid notice specifies a 3-year parts and labor warranty for the beds.

Responses shall contain capabilities statements to include unique entity identification UEI number, proof that you are an authorized dealer of umano medical ook snow all medical beds and any qualifying certifications that may be required.

Delivery is requested ASAP after notice of award, receipt of purchase order, or authorized calls for delivery, unless otherwise specified. Bidders guarantee delivery in a specified number of days. The county reserves the right to reject bids with lengthy delivery schedules if items are required promptly.

The county's terms of payment are 2 10 net 30. Bidders may offer alternate terms, but these will not be used in award determination.

Bidder must warrant that the goods shall be delivered free of the rightful claim of any third person by way of infringement of patents, trademarks or copyright.

Awards may be made by individual item, grouped items or lot. The county reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any portion thereof. The purchasing agent reserves the right before making award to make investigations as to whether or not the items, qualifications or facilities offered by the bidder meet the requirements set forth herein and are sufficient to insure the proper performance in the event of an award. The bidder must be prepared, if requested, to present evidence of experience, ability and financial standing. If it is found that any of these criteria are not satisfactory, the county may reject bids. Delivery time may be a factor in determining the winning bidder.

Should the vendor fail to perform as required by the specifications, the county may cancel the order and terminate the order/contract. In such event, the county will assume no responsibility for, nor will it reimburse the vendor for any expense or loss to the contractor because of such termination or cancellation. County will then purchase product/service on the open market and charge back the difference to the defaulting vendor.

Samples, when required, must be delivered prior to the bid opening and free of charge. Samples will be returned at bidder's expense and bidder is required to arrange for pick up.

Vendors protesting or disputing bid specifications must do so in writing during the bid opening period prior to the due date to be considered. Such protests must be in the possession of the bureau of purchase and supplies three working days prior to the bids opening. Verbal protests may not be entertained.

Failure to complete this bid in its entirety may result in disqualification. Late bids will not be considered. Copies obtained from any other source are not considered official documents and will be considered incomplete if missing addenda, if any, resulting in disqualification.

The government will pay the rate which is deemed most advantageous to the government throughout the lifetime of the contract regardless of occupancy status, number of occupants, or differences in room types i. e. : number of rooms, size, etc. ensuring the minimum requirements are adhered to as outlined in this performance work statement pws. All charges should be considered by the vendor and provided for in the room rates proposed charges are not to be made to the employee unless they are personal charges opted for by the employee.

Any properties that will be utilized must meet paragraph 3 performance work statement pws requirements. This is a preliminary inspection and does not guarantee units will be accepted at this location. Units must meet all requirements of paragraphs 4. 1 4. 11 before they will be accepted for use by the government.

Pre award, an independent property inspection will be conducted by pnsys technical team to address if a property is pre approved to be utilized to source rooms from for this requirement. Post award, a unit inspection will be conducted by the cor for acceptance of the unit.

The delivery period of performance is 60 calendar days after notice to proceed.

The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers: i technical ii price. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest price technically acceptable.

Offerors must have an active federal government contracts registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database when submitting an offer or quotation and at the time of award. For small business set-asides, the contractor shall have a current SAM registration with a small business certification under this solicitation NAICS code size standard listed on page 1.
