Contractors must be qualified and furnish competent and skilled employees. Insurance requirements include workers compensation, general liability, automobile liability, and umbrella coverage.
If repairs and labor charges are not pre-approved, the contractor is responsible for all costs. If property damaged by the contractor is not repaired or remediated in a timely basis, the city may have the damage repaired at the contractor's expense.
Proposals not received by the deadline, or those with unsigned signature pages, will not be considered. Failure to obtain prior written approval for repairs and labor charges can result in the contractor being responsible for all costs.
