No payments above 80% of the total contract value will be paid until the final inspection is complete and accepted.

A one-year written warranty letter is required after final acceptance of the entire project.

Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror.

Contractors must demonstrate a minimum of five years of relevant experience in similar projects.

Liquidated damages shall be assessed for noncompensable delays wherein the work is not accepted prior to the scheduled completion date.

A site visit will be held at Building 100 on June 11, 2026, at **** Luis Ramos Martinez at **** or ***@***. *. * to coordinate site access.

Failure to provide all required documents will result in the contractor's proposal/offer being technically unacceptable.

Approximately 49 school orders in August 2026 with a delivery date in the first week of September 2026. There will also be a smaller order in November 2026.

Payment terms are net 30 days after receipt of correct invoice or acceptance of goods, whichever is later.

Vendor warrants that all goods delivered hereunder will be free from defects in materials and workmanship and will conform strictly to the specifications, drawings, or samples specified or furnished. This warranty shall survive any inspection, delivery, acceptance or payment by ucboe of the goods and shall run to ucboe and any user of the goods.

The bid will be awarded to the vendor with the lowest bottom line including the bid specification list, preapproved brands, unit price, extensions, and page total.

Failure to comply with the request to list all prices per item on each page in exhibit 1, subtotal each page and bid total on page 6 will invalidate your bid.

The bidder must arrange removal within two weeks of the award notice.

Full payment must be received and cleared by the City prior to the release of the stove. Acceptable forms of payment include cashier's check or money order. Personal or business checks will not be accepted.

The stove is sold as-is with no warranties. The City is not responsible for the condition of the stove once it is picked up or delivered.

The objective of this RFB is to award the highest responsive responsible bidder.

Bidder must be current with all taxes due, and the company must be in good standing with all required governmental agencies.

Interested bidders may schedule an inspection of the stove prior to the bid due date.

The document clearly states there is no requirement for sample submission.

Responses to this IFB must be received by June 4, 2026, 10:30 am.

Payment will be made in accordance with the pricing provided on Exhibit C Pricing Sheet. Invoices must include the contract or purchase order number and describe the work completed in detail.

The bidder shall have relevant experience for at least three years. Bidders must provide a minimum of three verifiable references.

Mandatory onsite visits will be conducted on May 21, 2026, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Rio Grande State Hospital, **** S Rangerville Rd. , Harlingen, TX **** to attend will result in disqualification.

Failure to attend the mandatory onsite visit, not submitting required information, or failing to comply with communication restrictions may result in disqualification.
