Bids may be mailed, emailed, or delivered in person. Indian preference will be given to bidders who provide proof of current certification from the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Office (TERO). The successful bidder must complete the TERO labor agreement and pay all applicable fees. The contractor must comply with insurance requirements (workers compensation, general liability, automobile coverage). Subcontractors must be approved by HACN and the TERO office. The contractor must submit required documentation within three days of notification of award. The contractor agrees to a drug-free and tobacco-free workplace policy. A list of materials to be used is included in the solicitation. The project must be completed within 5 days. The method of payment is one payment at 100% completion with work approved by the HACN inspector.
