The State of Oregon, through the Department of Human Services, is seeking qualified contract attorneys to provide legal services for adult protective services. The initial contract term is anticipated to be five years. Applications are due by December 31, 2026. The agency may award up to twelve contracts. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications, including being a member of the Oregon State Bar in good standing and having experience in protective proceedings. The legal client-attorney relationship is solely between the petitioner and the contract attorney. The agency will review applications in the order they are received. The agency may reject an application for various reasons, including failure to comply with solicitation procedures. Invoices must include specific information, and the agency will not reimburse for travel or additional expenses.
