Burke is seeking proposals for on-site pharmacy services and a pharmacy sublease. Services will be provided to Burke persons served and some employed staff within an eleven-county area, as well as to off-site Burke facilities. The contract period is from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2028, with potential two-year renewals up to four years. Proposals are due by July 29, 2026, at 9:00 AM. The estimated value for FY25 was approximately $29,000 for prescriptions. The vendor will lease space in Lufkin for the pharmacy. Key services include managing and staffing the on-site pharmacy, providing a full-time pharmacist, billing clients and insurance, utilizing cost-saving programs, dispensing medications (including blister packs and injectables), providing vaccines, accepting returned medications, maintaining records, reporting quarterly, interfacing with Burke's EHR, providing prior authorization support, offering emergency after-hours medication, mail order services, and delivery within a 10-mile radius of specific clinics.
