This is a limited source justification for the acquisition of a 6-wheeled assault platform (6WAP) vehicle. The justification is based on the argument that only one source, CSI Armoring, is capable of providing the required supplies or services at the required level of quality due to the unique and highly specialized nature of the vehicle and its components. The estimated procurement value is $1,057,**** is expected 180 days after receipt of the order, with shipping and handling terms being F. O. B. destination. Inspection and acceptance will be at the destination. The acquisition will be procured against the MAS program, GSA special item number, SIN category ****, titled: nontactical armored vehicles and vehicle armoring services. The contracting officer will seek price reductions from CSI under their MAS contract, ****, in accordance with FAR **** research was conducted and revealed that the requested items were not available through AbilityOne, Unicorp, or the Interagency Contract Directory Portal. The required items were available on the GSA Advantage website under the MAS program through CSI's MAS contract ****. CSI is the only authorized distributor of RCRMS products on schedule and open market.
