The bid notice states that sealed bids will be received no later than 3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

The bidder will provide additional information including, but not limited to, a list of similar projects constructed within the past five 5 years, client references, and, if required, an audited or certified financial statement, other financial references deemed appropriate to contract award.

As part of the bidding process, a mandatory prebid meeting will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 420 NW 27th lane, Okeechobee, FL **** interested parties shall gather in the east parking lot area of the site. The meeting will allow prospective bidders to familiarize themselves with existing site conditions, review project requirements, take necessary measurements, and obtain photographs for accurate proposal development. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory for any firm wishing to submit a bid.

Any questions pertaining to the project scope of work will be addressed to Brooke Bodden in writing to the physical or email address noted below, no later than Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 3:00pm.

Bids received from contractors who do not participate in the prebid meeting will not be accepted.

The period of performance shall start at the time of the award and not exceed 365 days after award.

The bid notice states that there is a standard 2-year limited warranty for the generator and a standard 2-year basic warranty for the transfer switch.

The bid notice does not mention the submission of samples.

The performance end date shall be 60 days from the start date, unless an extension is granted by the contracting officer.

The contractor shall be licensed in accordance with state of Texas requirements, as applicable.

The contractor is encouraged to visit the fence installation location before submitting their bid to accurately plan for challenges with topography and shallow soils.

The onsite work shall be performed between receipt of signed contract or purchase order and December 30th, 2026, unless a written exception is granted by the facilities management regional manager.

All bids over $100,000 shall include provisions for a payment bond in the amount of twenty-five percent (25%) of the contract price.

For this project, the contractor and applicable subcontractors shall possess an active BCB SM, BCB or BCC Tennessee Building Contractor License prior to submitting a bid. Failure of the contractor and applicable subcontractors to provide copies of their appropriate license shall result in the disqualification of the bid.

Any bid not in strict compliance with the requirement of Tenn. Code **** shall be rejected.
