Final payment for the construction project will be made by check upon completion and acceptance of the work by the county. If performance and payment bonds are not required, payment will be made upon acceptance of satisfactory work.
Travis County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to make an award of a base bid and/or an alternate bid which is in the best interest of Travis County.
Respondents must submit a completed, certified safety record questionnaire, a sworn declaration and acknowledgment regarding Travis County ethics requirements, and a historically underutilized business hub program declaration. Bidders must also be skilled and experienced in the use and interpretation of plans and specifications.
Liquidated damages apply for failure to complete work on time, as detailed in the General Conditions of the Construction Contract, Item 8, Section 8. 6. Failure to execute a contract or file required bonds within 7 working days of award may result in the bid bond or check becoming the property of Travis County.
