The contractor shall provide a minimum two-year manufacturer warranty covering parts and labor, software functionality, hardware defects, and electrical and mechanical components. Extended warranty options for 3-5 years should be stated.

Texas Southern University intends to award the contract to the company offering the most advantageous proposition to the institution, based on the best value standard for purchase of goods or services. This includes considerations such as proposed costs, stability and success of the contractor's business, quality and reliability of goods and services, delivery terms, and indicators of probable contractor performance.

Vendors responding to this bid must be prepared to submit a list of at least three references for successfully provided products for projects of similar type and magnitude if asked pre-award. Subcontractors providing services must meet the same requirements and level of experience as the respondent.

Should the contractor consistently fail to meet the specified delivery, Texas Southern University reserves the right to cancel upon 10 days written notice and purchase these items elsewhere. The university also reserves the right to terminate the contract or any portion thereof on thirty days written notice for grounds including failure to provide timely prompt service and failure to provide quality products.

There is no pre-bid meeting or walkthrough required for this invitation to bid.
