Pueblo West Metropolitan District is seeking bids for asphalt and concrete repairs. The project involves approximately **** SY of roadway cut patching and two concrete driveway repairs. Work must be completed within 60 calendar days. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 22, 2026. Electronic bids are due by July 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM MT. A 5% bid bond is required. Successful bidder must provide a 100% performance bond and labor/materials payment bond.

For contracts under $150,000, the district will pay monthly estimates less 5% retainage, with final payment upon completion and acceptance. The district shall pay at least ninetyfive percent 95 of the calculated value of completed work.
If, within one year after substantial completion or acceptance, any work is found to be defective, the contractor shall correct it promptly. The contractor shall also conduct a warranty inspection one month prior to the guaranty ending. If, within one 01 year after the date of substantial completion of the work or within one year after acceptance by district, any of the work. . . is found to be defective or not in accordance with the professional service contract documents, contractor shall correct it promptly
The contract will be awarded to the lowest conforming, reliable and responsible bidder, provided the bids are reasonable and do not exceed available funds. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept other than the lowest bid and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received.
Bidders must submit a Statement of Qualifications, answering all questions comprehensively. The district will award the contract to the lowest, reliable, responsible, and qualified bidder. All bidders are reminded that a contract for work described in the contract documents will be awarded to the lowest, reliable, responsible and qualified bidder as determined by the district.
Liquidated damages in the amount of $1,**** per working day will be deducted if the work is not completed within the specified time limits. Failure to comply with communication directives during the solicitation process may result in disqualification. Late bids will not be considered. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the offending contractor being removed from consideration.
