Provide base that has been tested and has accepted by the FHWA/KYTC in accordance with MASH ( look at FHWA website for manufacturers under Sign Supports, Mailboxes & Delineators): www. ***. *. * crash- severity). Provide a base that meets or exceeds Frey Manufacturing CP6 Series. Each door on the pedestal shall have a 3x 2 shock hazard sticker applied to the outside of the door. Provide each anchor bolt with 2 galvanized hex nuts as well as one flat and one lock washer. Provide nuts that equal or exceed the proof load of the bolts strength. Provide bolts that are hot- dip galvanized to the requirements of either ASTM A 123 ( fabricated products) or ASTM A 153 ( hardware items). Protect anchor bolt threads from damage during shipping.
