The 7th Contracting Squadron (7 CONS) is seeking quotes from small business contractors for the rental of an aerial lift
truckbucket truck at Dyess AFB, TX for 120 calendar days (4 months). The rental period starts on April 25, 2025. The
truck must meet specific specifications (working height, rotation, reach, etc. ) and comply with DOT, OSHA, and ANSI standards. The contractor is responsible for all labor, equipment, tools, material, supervision, and other necessary items. The contractor must also ensure the
truck meets all agency requirements, including dielectric testing by a certified shop, and provide documented proof of testing. Insurance, maintenance, recovery, and repair services are also required. Strict safety and health regulations, including OSHA requirements, state requirements, welding/cutting/brazing approvals, work clearance, and confined space procedures, apply. The government will provide reasonable utilities and workspace, but the contractor is responsible for all equipment and storage. The government will provide fuel. Specific security requirements, including identification cards and Dyess AFB Form 173, apply. Contractor vehicles must be marked with company names. All contractor employees driving vehicles on base must have a valid driver's license, registration, and insurance. The contractor must also provide points of contact, including business addresses, phone numbers, and hours of operation, and arrangements for contacting them after normal business hours. The contract includes a one-year warranty on materials and workmanship. Failure to meet acceptance criteria within the specified timeframe may result in monetary penalties.
