Albany County is requesting bids for the purchase of one 2026 Kawasaki Ridge Crew HVAC UTV vehicle and associated accessories. Bids must be received by 11:00 am local time on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Bidding documents are available at the purchasing division office or via the Empire State Bid System website. Evaluation is based on lowest total bid cost, bid completeness, and bidder capabilities. All bid prices must include freight and be quoted F. O. B. destination. Delivery must be made within ten business days of receiving the purchase order.
All deliveries shall be made within ten 10 business days of vendors receipt of purchase order, unless otherwise specified in this request for bids, or as otherwise agreed upon between the vendor and the purchasing division.
Albany County operates a formal purchase order system. Under no circumstances will the vendor or contractor be paid without a purchase order.
Bids will be evaluated based, as a minimum, upon the following criteria: a lowest total bid cost and projected timetable for completion of services and/or delivery of goods described herein b completeness of the bid and c bidders demonstrated capabilities and professional qualifications.
No formal written bidder qualification questionnaire is being requested for this bid, but all bidders shall submit the vendor responsibility questionnaire attachment c as part of the bid.
In the event of a breach by contractor, contractor shall pay to the county all direct and consequential damages caused by such breach, including, but not limited to, all sums expended by the county to procure a substitute contractor to satisfactorily complete the contract work, together with the countys own costs incurred in procuring a substitute contractor.
Questions received less than four 4 days prior to the date of submission of bids will not be answered.
The county reserves the right to refuse to issue bidding documents to a prospective bidder should such bidder be in default for any of the following reasons: a failure to comply with any prequalification regulations of the county, if such regulations are cited, or otherwise included, in the bidding documents as a requirement for bidding.
