Charlotte County seeks an annual contract for the removal, transportation, and disposal of domestic wastewater and residuals. The contract term is November 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with potential for two one-year extensions. Bids must be submitted by September 16, 2026, at 2:00 p. m. Contractors must have a minimum fleet of four functioning tankers and provide 24-hour emergency service.

Invoices will be paid in accordance with the local government prompt payment act ****.

The county seeks a bidder qualified by experience and solvency, with proven reliability and the ability to supply all items/services within a reasonable time frame acceptable to Charlotte County.
Failure to comply with the purchase order conditions shall be deemed a breach of contract subjecting the bidder to forfeiture of the bid bond or other possible penalties.
The bidder shall have five business days from the date of this notice to dispute the determination and to provide to the county any additional information it deems relevant regarding the bidders responsibility.
A bidder may be disqualified if they violate or is a party to a violation of the state of florida florida statutes, chapter 112, part iii, code of ethics for public officers and employees.
