minimum specifications for deicer truck must be equal to or exceed **** gallon deicer unit mounted on suitable chassis **** gallon deicer unit mounted on a chassis. all equipment must be operated from in cab, including application rate, movement of booms, and opening and closing of spray nozzles. spray boom is in three sections and nozzles in each section may be operated independent of other sections. 2. spray boom: constructed of high tensile, 1inch tubing in a triangular design for maximum strength to weight ratio. boom wings to breakback to prevent damage in the event of striking an object. booms rear mounted consisting of one adjustable center section and two swing out sections. each boom swingout section shall have a hydraulic lift cylinder installed to facilitate raising and lowering of that section independent of other sections of boom assembly. nozzles located on 30 inch centers. both wings to be folded along side of vehicle independently to facilitate ease in storing or spraying in close areas. spray
