Bid submission deadline is August 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST. Offers must be submitted in a sealed package or via email. Successful contractor must have at least five years of documented experience and be properly licensed (section ****). All work must comply with industry standards and local codes. The successful contractor will be responsible for all labor fees, licenses, permits, insurance, fuel, supplies, and any other expenses required to carry out the requirements of the solicitation. A signed copy of the form must be submitted with the offer. A minimum of three current references from K-12 school district clients is required. Responses received after the deadline will not be considered, unless the delay was caused by improper handling by district employees. The district reserves the right to reject or accept any or all responses and to waive any informalities and/or irregularities thereof. The contractor shall hold the district harmless from any and all damages and claims that may arise by reason of any negligence on the part of the vendor, his agents or employees in the performance of this contract. The contractor must secure State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) criminal background checks on every employee, representative and agent performing work, making deliveries or in any other way conducting business on district property. The contractor must not employ or contract with, during the performance of the contract, any illegal alien workers or otherwise violate the provisions of the federal immigration reform and
control act of ****, as may be amended. The contractor must not violate the provisions of the South Carolina illegal immigration reform act, as may be amended, beginning January 1, ****, and abide by this act regardless of the number of employees employed. Participation in everify through the Dept. of Homeland Security is required by the district regardless of the number of employees employed. Installation must be placed, leveled and accurately fastened into place by the vendor. The vendor shall be responsible for obtaining dimensions and other such data which may be required to assure exact fit to work under another contract or as intended by the district. The vendor shall be responsible for providing an appropriate amount of leadin for equipment requiring electrical, water or other basic service. The district will normally be responsible for bringing the appropriate service to the leadin. The vendor shall completely remove from the premises all packaging, crating, and other litter due to his/her work. The vendor shall also be responsible for the cost of repair of any damage to existing work which is caused by him/her during the installation of his/her equipment. The vendor shall supply a guarantee for all workmanship for the equipment he/she is furnishing for a period comparable to the standards in the industry. Invoices submitted for payment must contain specific information. Delivery dates for each item must be included with the response. The district reserves the right to select and award on an individual item basis, lot group basis or an all or none basis, whichever the district determines to be most advantageous. The district reserves the right to reject or accept any or all responses and to waive any informalities and/or irregularities thereof. The contractor shall not be liable for any excess costs if the failure to perform the contract arises out of causes beyond the
control and without the fault or negligence of the contractor. No contract may be assigned, sublet, or transferred without a written consent of the director of purchasing. Any deviations from specifications must be clearly pointed out. The contractor shall preserve and protect all structures, equipment, and vegetation such as grass, trees, and shrubs on or adjacent to the work site, which are not to be removed and which do not unreasonably interfere with the work required under this contract. The contractor shall only remove trees when
