The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) intends to award a contract for the procurement, delivery, and installation of six Sub-Zero commercial walk-in freezer units at the Federal Detention Center Houston's temporary site. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, tools, permits, and equipment. Working hours are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, and are normally from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Requests to extend hours must be submitted 48 hours in advance. All construction materials must be processed and coordinated with the contracting officer for temporary storage. Deliveries can be received between 7:30 AM and 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. The contractor is responsible for loading and unloading materials and equipment, and must not impede or block driveways. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety standards and provide their field technicians with all necessary safety equipment. The contractor must also comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws for the safe transportation, storage, use, documentation, and disposal of all chemicals that may be used on the job. The FDC Houston will provide electrical power and restroom facilities. A final inspection will be performed at completion for quality and in meeting the terms of this statement of work.

The notice is for the replacement of a heating system at the USCG Base Ketchikan. The government will provide some equipment (propane tank, boiler, etc. ). Contractors must be licensed and factory authorized to inspect and service propane heating systems. The period of performance will commence 45 days after contract award and will be 30 days thereafter. A site visit is optional and will be available on September 17th or 18th, 2025. Quotes are requested via email. The award will be made on a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) basis. All plumbing material and equipment shall be using lead free piping and fitting. All products to be delivered no later than 30 business days after contract award. If any long lead items are discovered, contractor shall inform the contracting officer immediately and provide updated delivery estimates in writing. Rental equipment, if utilized, shall be coordinated through the facility engineering office for delivery and storage while waiting for the contractor to mobilize on the work site. Storage is not readily available on base ketchikan. If contractor is requesting storage space, they must coordinate the request for space through the contracting officer and facilities engineering department at base ketchikan. Request must include square footage of storage requested and duration of storage. Storage must not contain and hazardous materials or waste.

This notice seeks proposals for the preventive maintenance, hot and cold inspections, temperature uniformity surveys, system accuracy tests, calibration, technical support, and emergency repair of government-owned furnace systems, including two vacuum furnaces and their components (instrumentation, programmable logic controller, programming, power supplies, chillers, vacuum pumps). Hot and cold inspections and uniformity surveys will be performed in mid-summer and mid-winter of each year.
