The University of Alabama in Huntsville is seeking proposals for a student recruitment marketing campaign. The campaign will target undergraduate and graduate students and parents/guardians in specific cities in Alabama and Tennessee. Services include campaign development, media planning, media buying, and placement. Proposals are due by June 23, 2026. The estimated total budget for the campaign is $750,**** must have previous experience leading a university recruitment campaign and provide at least one verifiable reference and samples from previous university campaigns. Evaluation criteria include technical proficiency, approach, references, samples, and the breakdown of labor/overhead versus advertising funds.
All proposals must be submitted through BidNet Direct by 3:00 p. m. CT on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
University shall pay contractor's invoices by the day that is thirty (30) calendar days after university receives the contractor's invoice, unless a different arrangement is set forth herein.
The proposer warrants that the supplies delivered hereunder shall be free from all defects in material and workmanship and shall comply with all the requirements of this order for a period of ninety (90) days from the date such supplies are accepted, unless otherwise provided herein.
Proposals will be awarded based on the following criteria: labor and overhead versus funds spent in advertising (25 points), technical proficiency and approach (30 points), and reference and sample advertising from previous campaigns including any work performed for UAH (45 points).
Proposers shall have previous experience leading a recruitment campaign for a university and provide at a minimum one verifiable reference regarding the university campaign led by the proposer. Proposer must also provide samples from the recruitment campaign they have done for a university.
If the contractor fails to fulfill its contract obligations, the university may give the contractor written notice of its failure to perform, and if the contractor fails to correct the default within five (5) days, the university, by written notice, may terminate the contract after an additional five (5) days.
Proposer shall also provide samples from the recruitment campaign they have done for a university within the package.
All questions regarding the RFP should be submitted via BidNet Direct by June 15, 2026, at 3:00 p. m. CT.
Grounds for rejection of a proposal include, but shall not be limited to: failure of a proposal to conform to the essential requirements of the solicitation; a proposal imposing conditions which would modify the terms and conditions of the solicitation; failure of the contractor to sign the proposal form; any proposal determined by the university to be unreasonable as to commission and/or guarantee; proposals received that are determined to be from contractors who are not responsible.
The university has a total budget for all costs related to this campaign of seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($750,****).
