Latest US Furniture Installation Contracts & Bids

The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the removal, protection, storage, and reinstallation of furniture, fixtures, and accessories at the water administration building. The work will be completed in three phases to accommodate onsite personnel displacements. The contractor will be responsible for repairing any damage caused during the removal and reinstallation process. The contractor shall coordinate with the city's project manager to minimize disruption. The facility is a fully functional workplace, and monitoring and maintaining acceptable noise levels is required at all times. The contractor's project manager will be issued a temporary access badge for entry before work begins and for the duration of the project. The project manager is required to be on site at any time contractors' employees are on site and working. The work will be completed primarily during business hours (7am to 5pm Monday through Friday). Night/weekend work will be minimal, depending on noise level and area of work. Compliance with laws and regulations set forth by regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, ICC, DNR, DOT) is required. The contractor will ensure that its employees observe and exercise all necessary caution and discretion to avoid injury to person or damage to property. The contractor shall be responsible for, and indemnify and hold the city harmless from, all damage to the facility that may occur during this project. Any damage that may occur shall be reported to the city immediately. The contractor shall maintain a written log describing all property damage reports, and the contractor's activities to repair and remediate. No part of this project will be subcontracted or assigned without prior written consent of the city, excluding any emergency work. The contractor shall be equipped with the normal tools of their trade and shall furnish all labor, tools, and all other items necessary for and incidental to executing and completing all required work. Removal and offsite disposal of construction waste will be the responsibility of the contractor and shall be included in the bid price. Debris and trash shall be removed at the end of each day's work. Upon completion, the work area shall be left clean of debris and trash associated with the work.

The 82nd contracting squadron intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order for uplift furniture to square grove llc. The acquisition is for additional standup desks and conference tables for the CE services offices. Responses and questions must be received via email no later than 02:00 PM CDT on 18 August 2025.

This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for miscellaneous furniture and fixtures. The solicitation number is FA301625Q6189. The deadline for responses is Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM Central Standard Time. Responses should be sent to the specified email addresses. Late submissions will not be considered unless the contracting officer determines that accepting the late quote would not unduly delay the acquisition, and it was the only quote received.
