This is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for bathroom repairs at the official residence. Offerors must be technically qualified and financially responsible, with established businesses in Guatemala or plans to establish one within 30 days of award. Proof of SAM registration is required. Quotations must be submitted electronically in PDF format by April 16, 2026, **** hours. The submission must include Standard Form **** with a detailed price proposal and performance schedule, and a business management/technical proposal with technical data sheets for proposed materials. A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The estimated contract price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Award will be made to the lowest priced, acceptable, responsible quoter.
Quotations are due by April 16, 2026, by **** hours. No quotations will be accepted after this time. The contractor shall begin performance within 5 calendar days and complete it within 35 calendar days after receiving award, notice to proceed.
Payment terms are Net 30 days after receipt of a valid invoice in the finance office. Payments will be made only via electronic funds transfer (EFT).
The contractor shall implement an effective quality control program and ensure that a qualified supervisor is always present on site during active work. All work shall be subject to inspection, review, and approval by the contracting officer's representative (COR). Any work found to be deficient or noncompliant shall be corrected by the contractor at no additional cost to the government within the timeframes specified by the COR. The contractor warrants and implies that the items delivered hereunder are merchantable and fit for use for the particular purpose described in this contract.

Minimum requirements include the ability to understand written and spoken English, an established business in Guatemala or plans to establish one within 30 days of award, proof of SAM registration, prior construction experience with suitable references, necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources, all required local licenses and permits, meeting local insurance requirements, no adverse criminal record, and no political or business affiliation contrary to U. S. interests.
If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified in the contract, or any extension, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the government in the amount of **** for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted.
A site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Participants will meet at 20 Calle 4-30, Zona 10.
It is anticipated that the range in price of this contract will be between $25,000 and $100,000.
