This is an amendment to extend the response due date for Project **** NRM Replace Windows (****). The new response due date is June 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM CDT. The project involves demolition and replacement of existing windows at the Birmingham VA Medical Center. The magnitude of construction is estimated between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). Offerors must be registered in SAM. gov and vetcert. A site visit can be coordinated. RFIs are due May 29, 2026. Proposals are due electronically by June 30, 2026. Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis.
The new response due date is June 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM Central Daylight Time (CDT).
Payment for stored materials is subject to FAR **** and VA policies, including off-site storage approvals and title vesting.
Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for nonprice factors, using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process.
To be eligible for award, the offeror must be registered at SAM. gov, have completed electronic annual representations and certifications at vetcert. If submitting as a joint venture, a certification from each SDVOSB joint venture partner is required.
