This tender seeks proposals for the design, installation, and testing of a new HVAC system in the Antram Gray
House at the Roger Williams National Memorial. The project is a firm-fixed price contract, and the work must comply with ASHRAE, IMC, local building codes, and energy efficiency standards. A site visit is mandatory on May 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM ET. The period of performance is from June 12th to September 30th, 2025. The delivery location is 282 North Main Street, Providence RI, 02903. The contracting officer representative (COR) is Kevin Rice. The estimated magnitude of the requirement is between $25,000 and $100,000. Additional documents, including the DOL construction wage rate determination and construction contract administration, are attached. The contractor is responsible for all damages to persons or properties that occur because of a contractor's fault or negligence. The contractor must take proper health and safety precautions to protect the work, workers, the public and property of others. The contractor shall be insured in accordance with District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland insurance regulations. The government is not responsible for damage to contractor's equipment, vehicles, tools or materials or their employees and the personal property brought onsite. The government will not accept any liability due to contractor employee negligence. The contractor must take care not to damage the historic fabric when taking measurements or samples. The contractor must stop work if potential, undocumented cultural and/or natural resources are encountered. The contractor is responsible for conducting routine services, between the hours of 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday, except when the government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, weather-related closures, administrative closings, or similar government-directed facility closings.
