The notice is for the provision of equipment, installation, configuration, and training. The installation and training will be completed in a single 3-day onsite visit at DSHS, Austin, TX. The contract term will be effective on the date the contract is issued and will expire based on the schedule for delivery of services or by the date or delivery days after receipt of order provided by the bidder. Prices offered must be firm, fixed prices for the life of the contract. The contractor must have an active telephone service answered during normal business hours. The agency will ensure product received is the same as awarded item. The contractor is solely responsible for the performance of all services and requirements referenced in section 7. 1, scope of work and this ifb.
The vendor is responsible for payment of any additional charges by the contract warehouse such as overtime, blast freezing, lowering temperatures, restacking second delivery due to split delivery quantity unless requested by hhsc, unloading charges, etc.
HHS system agency will make contract payments in accordance with chapter **** of the texas government code, commonly known as the texas prompt payment act.
The award will be made to the bidder whose response offers the best value to the state based on all factors considered, including price.
The evaluation may also consider the bidders demonstrated financial capability, financial solvency, and capacity to fulfil the requirements of this ifb.
The contractors noncompliance or failure to timely correct the deficiency may result in delayed payment or nonpayment as determined by the hhs agency.
