The county requests all payments be made via direct deposit through an automated clearing house (ACH). Vendors awarded a contract shall complete an authorization agreement form prior to award.
Vendor warrants that all goods and services furnished will conform in all respects to the terms of the solicitation, including any drawings, specifications or standards incorporated herein, and that they will be free from latent and patent defects in materials, workmanship and title, and will be free from such defects in design.
The award will be based on the following factors where applicable: adherence to all conditions and requirements of the bid specifications, price, qualifications of the bidder, including past performance, financial responsibility, general reputation, experience, service capabilities, and facilities, delivery or completion date, product appearance, workmanship, finish, taste, feel, overall quality, and results of product testing, maintenance costs and warranty provisions, and repurchase or residual value.
Bids must be submitted from qualified and authorized vendors.
Under no circumstances will Kane County pay or be subject to any additional fees, penalties, or incurred costs as a result of vendor invoice submission failures.
Samples of items, when called for, must be furnished free of expense and, if not destroyed in the evaluation process, will, upon request, be returned at the bidders expense.
All questions or requests for information pertaining to this bid and/or the scope of services should be directed to the purchasing office no later than May 21, 2026, at 10:00 a. m.
Bids received after the submittal time will be rejected and returned unopened to the sender. Failure to comply with all submission requirements set forth in Kane County Ordinance **** is grounds for the county to determine that a submission is incomplete, which may result in a determination that the contractor is not a responsible bidder. A violation of the communication provision is cause for the county to reject the bidders proposal.
