The City of Fort Lauderdale is seeking bids for turf grass maintenance services. Services include mowing, trimming, edging, weed removal, litter and debris removal, snipe sign removal, dead frond removal, water sprout removal, and blowing/raking all areas. Bidders must be licensed and experienced. A Florida Certified Horticultural Professional, a Certified Pesticide Applicator, and a Green Industries Best Management Practices (GIBMP) certified individual are required. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM. Bids must be submitted electronically through the city's online strategic sourcing platform by August 7, 2026. No pre-bid conference or site visit will be held.

Payment will be made within 45 days after receipt of an invoice acceptable to the city, in accordance with the Florida Local Government Prompt Payment Act. The city has implemented a procurement card (p-card) program for payments.
Bidders must be qualified, experienced, and licensed firms. They must also provide a minimum of one full-time staff person certified as a Florida Certified Horticultural Professional, a Certified Pesticide Applicator, and with a limited certification in Green Industries Best Management Practices (GIBMP).
If deficient work is not corrected to the satisfaction of the contract coordinator, no payment will be made for any portion of the assigned location. Noncompliance may also make the contractor subject to default or cancellation for cause provisions.
There will not be a pre-bid conference or site visit for this ITB.
Any bidder not recommended for award who alleges a failure by the city to follow procurement ordinances or applicable law may follow the protest procedure within five days after a notice of intent to award is posted.
The city reserves the right to disqualify a bidder during any phase of the competitive solicitation process and terminate for cause any resulting contract upon evidence of collusion with intent to defraud or other illegal practices.
