The contract effort is to provide comprehensive sampling for all ACM orm materials. he intent of this contract s effort is to provide comprehensive sampling for all acm orm materials

Contractors must be qualified and DCAMM certified general contractors. The site supervisor must be certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and have completed an EPA training center course or equivalent. All abatement workers must be trained and accredited as required by 40 CFR **** and OSHA regulations.

If the asbestos contractor fails to comply with the requirements of the specifications, the asbestos project monitor may present a written stop of work order. The asbestos contractor must immediately and automatically stop all work until authorized in writing by the asbestos project monitor to commence work. All costs related to delays shall be at the asbestos contractor's expense.

The inspector along with the awarded contractor will perform a site visit to review all work areas. It is the asbestos contractor's responsibility to inspect the site and confirm conditions prior to the submission of their bid package.

Failure to comply with the requirements of the specifications, including work practices, protective measures, and disposal procedures, may result in a stop of work order and associated costs. Non-compliance with federal, state, and local regulations can lead to penalties and liabilities.
