Request for Quotation for 2 each of aircraft rudder (NSN: ****). This is not a small business set-aside. Quotations are not offers. Prices must be held firm for 120 days. Restricted to qualified sources: Aerospace Commercial Technologies (CAGE: 1XKR3) and Lockheed Martin (CAGE: ****). First article testing is required. Delivery is FOB destination. Offer due date is July 24, 2026.
The required delivery schedule (RDS) will be reviewed and an achievable delivery schedule proposed based on internal production lead time (PLT) review. The government may negotiate an updated RDS. For item ****, proposed delivery is 150 calendar days. For item ****, proposed delivery is 180 calendar days. For item ****, proposed delivery is on or before December 30, 2028.
Payment requests and receiving reports must be submitted electronically using Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Specific document types (invoice, receiving report, progress payment request, etc. ) depend on the line item type. The contractor shall use the following information when submitting payment requests and receiving reports in wawf for this contract or task or delivery order: 1 document type. The contractor shall submit payment requests using the following document types: i for costtype line items, including laborhour or timeandmaterials, submit a cost voucher. ii for fixed price line items a that require shipment of a deliverable, submit the invoice and receiving report specified by the contracting officer.
When the contract contains warranty requirements, warranty information shall be applied on containers and items. Container markings shall be as specified in milstd129. The period or conditions of the warranty shall be specifically stated, i. e. , landings, flight hours, operating hours, days from shipping date, etc.
This acquisition is restricted to qualified sources: Aerospace Commercial Technologies, CAGE: 1XKR3, and Lockheed Martin, CAGE: **** desiring to become a qualified source must submit a qualification package. Offerors should contact the agency activity designated below to obtain all requirements that they or their products or services, or their subcontractors or their products or services, must satisfy to become qualified and to arrange for an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities to meet the standards specified for qualification.
If the contractor fails to deliver any first article on time, or the contracting officer disapproves any first article, the contractor shall be deemed to have failed to make delivery within the meaning of the default clause of this contract.
A first article is required for testing. The first article test report is to be submitted concurrently with the first article. Approved first articles will be returned to the contractor at their expense for shipment with production items.
If, after award, the contracting officer discovers that an applicable qualification requirement was not in fact met at the time of award, the contracting officer may either terminate this contract for default or allow performance to continue if adequate consideration is offered and the action is determined to be otherwise in the government's best interests.
