Once the exploration phase is complete, AML staff will make any necessary adjustments to the proposed hole locations for grouting the coal seam. Six- inch plus diameter holes will be drilled to the # 11 coal seam in the specified order. The hole will be cased through the soil horizon into solid competent rock with 6- inch diameter PVC pipe. A box utility trailer with sufficient volume capacity, Non- Woven, Polyethylene Geotextile Sediment Filter Bags or an equivalent system shall be used to capture all cuttings from all drill holes to minimize sediment deposits in the yards. Approximately 400 gallons of water will be required to flush each hole. Methane monitoring is the responsibility of the contractor, and if methane is encountered, the contractor must immediately implement a plan to secure the area.
