The US Embassy in New Delhi requires the
renovation of 5 apartments (apartments 50 to 54) at the Enclave Compound. The scope of work includes extensive interior and exterior
renovations, including kitchen, bathroom, and laundry upgrades, new flooring, tiling, plumbing, electrical work, and painting. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials (except specified government-supplied materials), equipment, tools, scaffolding, supervision, and adherence to safety mandates, including PPE. A site visit is mandatory. The contractor must submit a construction timeline, cut sheets, brochures, and material samples for approval before material delivery. The contractor must also prepare and submit a 1m x 1m sample mockup of the proposed work for approval. The project duration is 100 working days. All materials for the project will be provided by the embassy, except for the tools, equipment, and PPE. The contractor is responsible for the professional quality, technical accuracy, and coordination of all construction and other services. The contractor must identify a project manager/supervisor. The contractor is responsible for safety and compliance with local labor laws, regulations, customs, and practices. The contractor must promptly report all accidents resulting in lost time, disabling, or fatal injuries to the contracting officer (CO). All expenses towards mobilization, demobilization, equipment, workforce, and materials, profit, and overheads should be included in the quoted rates.
