Oven Repair Government Bids & RFPs

The contractor must have demonstrated experience in servicing, repairing, and calibrating industrial heat processing and vacuum oven systems of similar size and complexity.

The contractor shall provide a qualified industrial oven service technician onsite for system inspections.

The contractor shall not provide any service or product with any specification, standard, drawing, or other document that requires the use of a class i ods.

Payment shall be tendered to the supplier upon acceptance and approval by the county for satisfactory compliance with the general terms, conditions, and specifications of the contract by completed services completion of services ordered, verification of completion of work assurance that the work is completed as specified and warranted and receipt of a valid invoice.

The bidder shall warrant all parts and components used to repair county equipment with standard manufacturer warranty and shall be indicated on invoice. bidder shall warrant all labor work performed for a period of sixty 60 days upon completion of the repair.

The county intends to award to the responsible bidders who have submitted the lowest cost responsive bids or whose bid represents the best value to the county.

Each bidder and its subcontractors shall have the minimum experience set forth in this itb. Each bidder must submit documentation that demonstrates it is duly authorized to conduct business in the state of georgia with its bid.

A nonmandatory prebid conference has been scheduled for thursday, august 27, 2026 at 10: 00 a. m. , est.

Bids may be disqualified for failure to follow clayton countys bid schedule, failure to return applicable compliance and/or specification sheets, or failure to submit bid by deadline.

The bidder must have a minimum of five 5 years of experience in providing appliance repair services, as specified in this itb and attachment a, scope of services attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria: technical approach understanding 25, relevant experience 20, service capacity response capability 15, cost proposal 20, project team qualifications 10, customer service 5, safety compliance 5.

Proposals must include firm qualifications and experience, relevant operational experience, references, and key personnel qualifications.

Attendance at the prebid meeting is strongly encouraged but not mandatory, and site visits are available if requested.

Questions must be submitted by the deadline for questions, which is August 26, 2026.

Unauthorized contact may result in disqualification.

Quotes are due no later than 10am eastern time on August 14th, 2026.

All approved repairs shall be completed with supplies, materials, and parts of the highest quality available and appropriate for the equipment or system. Replacement parts shall be comparable to or higher quality than original equipment manufacturer OEM parts unless otherwise authorized. Parts and services provided for repairs shall be warranted for one calendar year from repair completion unless a longer manufacturer or contractor warranty applies.

The contractor shall be a firm specializing in commercial kitchen equipment maintenance, commercial kitchen exhaust hood cleaning/inspection, grease management, or closely related work, with not less than 5 years of documented successful experience. Personnel performing hood cleaning/inspection shall be trained and qualified for commercial kitchen exhaust system cleaning and inspection consistent with NFPA 96 and industry practice. Personnel performing electrical, mechanical, sanitation, calibration, filter replacement, or specialized equipment work shall possess applicable licenses, certifications, training, or manufacturer qualifications where required by law, code, manufacturer, or the contracting officer.

A site visit will be scheduled for interested vendors on either Monday, August 3rd at 2:00pm or Tuesday, August 4th at 2:00pm. Vendors are required to attend the site visit if they want to participate in this solicitation. Quotes that are submitted by vendors who did not attend the mandatory visit will not be evaluated.
