This is a Request for Bids (RFB) for SOG Uniforms for the Orange County Sheriff's Office. Bids are due by Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 3:30 PM. Copies of the RFB can be obtained starting May 20, 2026. All questions must be submitted in writing by Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Bidders must be registered to do business in New York State. Samples of each item must accompany the bid if equivalent items are being offered. Deliveries will be to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, 110 Wells Farm Road, Goshen, NY, within 30 days ARO. The term of the award is anticipated to be for one year, with the option to extend for up to two additional one-year periods. Pricing must be submitted on the provided bid form and should be net, including transportation and delivery charges. Awards may be made to the responsive and responsible bidders submitting the lowest priced bids.
All deliveries will be to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, 110 Wells Farm Road, Goshen, NY, unless otherwise specified on a county issued purchase order, and are to be delivered within 30 days ARO (After Receipt of Order).
The county offers Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) via Automated Clearing House (ACH) or check. The payment time in standard county contracts is typically 30 days for public improvement projects and 60 days for all other contracts, though the county is generally able to process payments more quickly.
Awards may be made to the responsive and responsible bidders submitting the lowest priced bids. The county reserves the right to accept other than the lowest priced offer, waive any informality, or reject any or all bids, if in the best interest of the county.
Bidders must be properly registered to do business in the state of New York and furnish applicable certificates of authority/incorporation/partnership/DBA, etc. , with their bid.
If a vendor fails to perform or otherwise breaches the PO terms and conditions, in addition to any other rights and remedies the county may have, the vendor may be listed as non-responsible and may be ineligible for future contract awards.
The county may require bidders to present additional evidence of experience, ability and financial standing, and reserves the right to interview any or all bidders and/or visit any or all bidders' sites during the evaluation of bids. If applicable, the county shall contact bidders to arrange an interview and/or site visit.
Sample of each item must accompany the bid if equivalent items are being offered. Failure to provide samples may disqualify the vendor as non-responsive. It is the responsibility of the vendor to provide a prepaid call tag or arrange for pickup of their samples within fifteen (15) days of the award.
All questions must be submitted by Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM, prevailing time. Questions received after this time may not be addressed.
Failure to respond to this RFB on any official forms included in this RFB may result in disqualification of a bid as nonresponsive. Any bid form which contains modifications (e. g. , to units, omissions or erasures) is illegible, conditional or unsigned may be rejected as nonresponsive.
