All work must be completed within one hundred twenty (120) days of the notice to proceed.

The town will pay the contractor one hundred percent (100%) of the amount stated in the engineer's report at the end of each calendar month. Final payment will be made within sixty (60) days of the engineer's final measurement submission.

The contractor guarantees that the work and materials are free from defects for a term of one (1) year from the date of final estimate approval.

Proposals will be evaluated based on experience, technical compliance, cost, installation timeline, equipment quality, warranty, and submission thoroughness.

Proposers must demonstrate completion of prior EV charging installation projects, have licensed CT electricians on staff, experience with municipal facilities and ADA requirements, and prior experience coordinating with Eversource.

A pre-bid site inspection is mandatory, scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, 2026, at 9:00 AM. The meeting point is the 66 Prospect Street, Skate Park Parking Lot.

Samples of articles, when required, shall be furnished free of cost to the Town of Ridgefield. Samples may be retained by the town for future comparison.

Disqualification may occur for unauthorized changes to insurance forms, failure to submit required insurance certificates, failure to submit a signed hold harmless agreement, or submitting more than one proposal from the same entity.

The bid submission deadline is June 10, 2026, 3:30 PM Pacific Time.
