The University of Hawaii is seeking proposals to facilitate a strategic positioning plan for the School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology (SOEST). A contract will be awarded to the responsive, responsible offeror whose proposal is determined in writing to be the most advantageous to the university taking into consideration the evaluation factors set forth in this rfp.
The facilitator must have extensive experience and knowledge of R1 universities and research oriented marine, earth, atmospheric, and technology institutions on a national level, must understand the climate of the university of hawaii and the politics and culture of the state of hawaii, and must be objective in order to achieve unbiased outcomes.
Upon request by the university, offerors shall provide samples of the work performed for other schools and universities.
Questions must be submitted by March 2nd, 2026.
The proposal should include an estimated breakdown of costs by time and materials for each task, hourly rates by personnel, and total hours per labor category, and total estimated project cost. The hawaii natural energy institute anticipates a single award in the range of 200,000 to 300,000.
